made to break/ part 3
The same issue arises with part 3, I think, than with part 2. The development of all of these programs, devices, mainframes, consoles and so on. I think that it is necessary to discuss the consequences of this crave for technology, rather than to embrace, admire and crave it. I know that Americans we are impatient and needy and I understand that we want everything the day before yesterday. But, we need to realize at what cost. Another question that we must address is when will enough be enough. How many computers, ipads, Ipods, cell phones and other devices do we need. How much more connected can we get and at what price. Not only can this technology be harmful to people, it may cause depression, reclusive attitudes, obesity and communication deficiencies among people. But, the biggest problem is the issue of global warming and the amount of waste products being backed up all over the world. One of the reasons why I am talking about these issues and the effects they ahve on global warming is because I am doing a report on global warming and I feel that some of the information in the book directly is related to the reasons that cause global warming in world. First, the manufacturing of these products are causing gas emissions to go into the air to which causes global warming. Second, the transportation of these products by ship, boat, plane, truck also cause problems and the last thing is the dismantling of all these products which causes health issues to the people and may damage the land with chemicals. If we stop producing the greenhouse gas emissions right now, it will take one-hundred years in order to for all of the gases to go away and be dissolved.
